Dress Antiquity is decorated with magnificent embroidery “Square”. This choice of ornament is not accidental, since the square in the Ukrainian tradition is one of the symbols of the earth. Since Ukrainians have long been farmers, it is not surprising that it is a square, with its “terrestrial” significance for the Slavs, is so widespread in embroidery.
